Why buyers in Armenia check before the trip to Rustavi
A buyer in Armenia often sees the car first on a Georgian lot. The seller says the auction hit was “light.” That word is not a title brand. The brand is clean, salvage, rebuilt, or flood, and it is written in the record, not in chat.
The land route from Georgia is short, so the decision is fast. On a fast market the history matters more, not less: the deposit leaves before anyone sees the car in Yerevan. Read the VIN before you drive to Rustavi.
Armenia drives on the right, which matches a US left-hand-drive car. That is only the steering side. It says nothing about odometer, airbags, or water.
Rustavi, Poti, and the border
These are two different goods. One is already parked in Rustavi and priced in lari. The other is still in a container and priced at the auction. Both have one VIN and one history. The record does not change because the car crossed a border.
Toward Bagratashen, the VIN in the papers has to match the number under the glass. If the seller sent photos of a different car, the history for the VIN you typed still tells that VIN’s story. Compare the number yourself, then order the report.

What changes the price in Yerevan
A salvage car in Armenia is often sold after repair. The buyer should see whether welding and paint are in the price or hidden behind “original paint.” Intermediate US odometer readings help when the ad has rounded the kilometres.
